• Former summer intern in the John Innes Centre, Norwich (Dr. Xiaoqi Feng's lab) under the JIC International Summer School programme.

• Alumnus of the 2017 Gatsby Plant Science Summer School in Yorkshire.

• Member of the Botanical Society of Scotland and the Genetics Society.

• Started an exotic plant collection in Sunway University with the Head of Science and Engineering.
