achievements/experiences

• Did my Bachelor degree in Biomedical Sciences, focusing on developmental biology at University College London.   

• My undergraduate study was funded by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia through the Mybrainsc program, in which I graduated with a first class honour. 

• During my second year of undergraduate, I did a summer research internship under the UCL FLS Dean’s Summer Studentship.

• Upon graduation, I’ve applied to and invited for interview weeks to several graduate programs across Europe, where I ended up with a PhD position under a prestigious graduate program (GSN). 

• I’ve mentored some juniors during my undergraduate study at UCL. 

• Throughout the past years, I was constantly approached by juniors who were referred to me (from my fellow Malaysian scholar friends, family and professors) for academic/career guidance/advices.

• Currently, I am also an active mentor for both MBIOS and my graduate school GSN.
